Pro-Bono WILLS FOR HEROES Clinic

TCBA will hold a Wills for Heroes clinic in celebration of Pro Bono Week on Friday, October 28 at the University of Alabama School of Law Career Services Center. 

Every day, firefighters, police and emergency medical personnel devote their lives to serving their communities. Wills for Heroes was created to provide the legal community a way to show its appreciation of the efforts and sacrifices of these brave men and women.

We will be utilizing the resources provided by the Alabama State Bar to draft free wills, powers of attorneys, and healthcare directives.  All materials and equipment will be available at the clinic for attorney use.  Training materials will be provided to volunteers at least one week prior to the clinic.

We have 2 shifts available and there are 5 available time slots for each shift:

Shift 1: 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, and

Shift 2: 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm

Lunch is being sponsored by Regions Trust Department and will provided for all volunteers from 11:30 until 1:00.
