The Tuscaloosa County Bar Association will hold it’s annual meeting at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 24th at the Cypress Inn Pavilion. In order to nominate and to vote, you must be a member in good standing with the Alabama and Tuscaloosa County Bar Associations and your member account cannot have a negative balance.
During the annual meeting we will have elections for our President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer for 2014-2015 as well as elections for two (2) seats on the TCBA Executive Committee and 3 seats on the Public Defender's Commission.
Nominees for all seats must be in good standing with the Alabama and Tuscaloosa County Bar Associations and shall have been engaged in the active practice of law for at least five (5) years.
Any member may submit additional nominations in writing via email to the mburgett@tuscobar.com. Nominations for all officer positions and committees must be submitted no later than June 10, 2014 in order for the nominees name to be included on the ballot.
